Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later she was a morning-news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD TV. When she was in Charleston O'Dell's reports about the relaxed approach police take to DUI cases resulted in an State Law Enforcement Division investigation that led to State authorities issuing the strictest guidelines regarding the cases. Ms. O'Dell won her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. In the years following her stint in Charleston O'Dell worked as a anchor and investigative reporter at the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV before joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter.
